Lylac pH Insights Study — Cohort 1
Purpose of the Study
This study aims to understand vaginal pH patterns and their relationship to women's health outcomes. By participating, you contribute to research that may help improve early detection of conditions like bacterial vaginosis (BV), hormonal imbalances, and fertility indicators.
What You Will Do
- Log vaginal pH readings using at-home test strips
- Record symptoms, cycle day, and optional notes with each reading
- Optionally interact with Lylac AI for personalized health insights
Data & Privacy
- Your data is stored securely and encrypted at rest (AES-256)
- Researchers see your data pseudonymized — your name and email are replaced with a code (e.g., P001), and your age is rounded into a range. Researchers can review individual rows of de-identified data, not your identity.
- Your data is never sold to advertisers or shared with third parties.
- You may export or delete your data at any time. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.
A note on consent (added at registration)
On the next screen you can grant or decline four separate purposes: (1) study participation, (2) AI insights, (3) personalized product recommendations, (4) de-identified research use. The first two are required for the core product to function. You can change any of these later on your Your Data page.
